There’s a lot to do around the house, and everyone has to contribute. Make a note of everyone’s chores on a calendar, and highlight in color those tasks that have been completed. It’s important to get children involved by giving them age-appropriate chores and remembering to give positive reinforcement when everything is done well and on time.
Simplify appointment scheduling
In our busy lives, we often have to make appointments. While it’s traditional to write them down in a calendar, it’s less common to write down the day you need to call the clinic or vet to schedule a visit. Another example is car maintenance, where it’s easy to miss the seasonal tire change or engine oil change.
Managing your priorities
As your to-do list grows, it’s important to prioritize. To do this, use a calendar. Write down what you have to do and assign numbers to each task. Now all you have to do is get them done in the right order.
